History

The Kooperatibang Likas ng Nueva Ecija (KOOL-NE) was established in May 17, 2002 as a joint venture of the Kalipunan ng mga Magsasaka para sa Likas-Kayang Sakahan sa Nueva Ecija (KALIKASAN-NE), and the Philippine Rural Reconstruction Movement (PRRM) to support sustainable rice production and marketing. Since then, it has been recognized as one of the outstanding cooperatives of Nueva Ecija. It is a member of the International Network of Alternative Financing Institutions, the Paragon Credit Coooperative, and the Cooperative Bank of Nueva Ecija.
